Summer Solstice marks the longest day and shortest night of the year. It symbolizes new beginnings in a time of the year when the Northern hemisphere stands in full bloom, nature gives abundantly and we can enjoy the richness which is surrounding us.
I invite you to celebrate this special time of the year with at beautiful Haus Birnbaum.
From Thursday until Sunday, we come together to enjoy lush nature, lakes, sauna and nourishing food while we dive deep into yogic practices such as breathing, chanting and of course, a lot of asana practice Jivamukti style.
You can expect a welcome class and opening circle on Thursday, extended morning classes including meditation, pranayama, chanting and Jivamukti yoga on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while Friday afternoon we offer you a workshop.
Saturday afternoon/evening is gonna be dedicated to Midsommar festivities, which is traditionally held on the Saturday after the 21st of June, the official beginning of summer. We also have an indulgent family style dinner and non-alcoholic drinks made by my partner Yona (those of you who know, know) ready for us to enjoy. Different rituals will be woven together into a big ceremony that celebrates our togetherness, our connection to Mother Earth, in honoring the cycles of nature.
